Available Puppies

Our puppies are a huge part of our life. Every litter with Cowboy Up is bred with the intention of producing the next great one – weather that is a cherished family companion, show dog, hunting dog or service dog. The parents are health tested, CKC reg’d Labradors that come from well respected genetics across North America. Cowboy Up is committed to using healthy parent dogs with calm, stable temperaments to produce quality puppies that integrate into families well.

Upcoming Litters

Our puppies grow & develop with their mom & littermates under our watchful eye. We are very involved in their development, bringing forward practices that have been proven to improve cognitive & brain function. We formulate puppy socialization & experiences as they grow. This gives them the confidence & trainability they need to be great at whatever their families have in store for them.

Older Pups & Adults Available

We occasionally have adult females/males that are retiring from our program. These dogs are a great choice for people wanting to skip the puppy stage and would prefer a more mature dog. They are vet checked, healthy and vaccines are updated before leaving. If they are not already spayed/neutered, sterilizing will be a requirement of their adoption. These dogs are very special to us.

We also sometimes have older pups or young adults available for adoption. They are available through no fault of their own. Please contact us with any questions.

At Cowboy Up we are committed to proving our dogs with quality food. We strongly believe that proper feeding has direct results on the health, longevity and proper growth for our dogs from puppyhood through to adulthood.

Why is TLC right for you and your puppy?

  • made with wholesome, all natural ingredients that include herbal packs, glucosamine and chondroitin
  • meat based with chicken, lamb and salmon
  • no corn, wheat, gluten or by-products are in the food
  • TLC is a Canadian made food, reasonably priced and fresher then most other dog foods that sit in transit or on the shelf for months
  • TLC prides itself on delivering the food FREE right to your door- weather that be your home or office or even your post office if you live in the country. Therefore it is available for everyone

We want to encourage you to feed a quality diet to your canine. We have fed TLC for about 10 years now with great results. Most commercial dog foods are overpriced, have low quality ingredients and hard to digest fillers. We are an advocate of reading the ingredients and guaranteed analysis of the food and not being swayed by the brand name on the bag. Please be sure to order about a week prior to your puppy arriving so that you have the food in time.

While we prefer that you drive or fly in and take your puppy home with you as carry on we can ship your puppy to you. We can fly across Canada, pups over 12 weeks or adult dogs via Westjet or Air Canada cargo. This is an additional cost.

  • Crate: $80-$180 depending on the size needed
  • Fit to Fly Vet Certificate: $75
  • Airfare: $350-$600 depending on size and weight of crate if no overnight stop is needed.
  • Transportation to the airport: $250 Keep in mind we are an 8 hour round trip to the airport. If we are able to ship more then 1 puppy at the same time the cost is shared between our clients.

Our puppies are $2500+GST. A deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are non refundable and apply to the purchase price. Order of deposits received reflects the order of pick in the litter, so it is important to get your deposit in early to avoid disappointment. Deposits will be refunded or moved to another litter of your choice if when the pup are born the colour and sex you requested is not available. Please note - as the breeder we reserve the right to first pick male and first pick female from any litter. Deposits can be made by cheque, email transfer or by direct deposit into our account. Final payment at the time of pick up can only be made by email transfer prior to pick up or by cash at the time of pick up. Please note - older pups are sometimes offered at a reduced price as are older dogs or retired dogs. Occasionally we have dogs with some training that we offer at an increased price. Please contact us to confirm a puppy or litter you are interested in.

Yes we do! In order to be added to our waiting list please complete our application form. Our application form isn't meant to disqualify anyone, but it does help us support you and find the best fit for your family. Please ask us for our application form.

Yes we do have a written health agreement. At the time of puppy pick up we will fill it out. Please ask us to review our written health agreement prior to placing a deposit.

Also as per our health agreement we stipulate that you do not spay/neuter your new puppy until it is at least 1 year old and highly recommend 15 months if you can wait that long. It is very detrimental to any large breed dog's growth and development to be sterilized prior to them finishing growing. Before placing a deposit on a puppy please review both of the below links. We are happy to discuss any concerns you have in this area and will provide a handout in more detail as to our thoughts and research at the time of puppy pick up.
